SAR delivers a wide range of passenger and freight services across various regions of Saudi Arabia
Passenger trains
SAR operates passenger trains on the North Line between Riyadh and Qurayyat, the East Line between Riyadh and Dammam, and the Haramain High-Speed Railway between Makkah and Madinah. SAR also operates the Mashair Train in Makkah.
Car Cargo
You can ship your vehicle by train on the SAR North Line between Riyadh and Qurayyat, or vice versa. Choose to transport your car only, or ship it and travel on the same train.
Parcel shipments
SAR provides fast and secure parcel shipment services on the North and East Lines at competitive rates. You can ship parcels of various sizes (up to 60kg) between all North and East Line stations, with same-day delivery options available.
Freight shipping

Buying Tickets
All SAR trains are fully reservable, meaning that you need to buy a ticket before you board the train. As such, we make it as easy as we can for you to buy tickets for your journey via a number of different channels.
Cancellations & Modifications
If you change your mind or events prevent you from using your ticket for travel with SAR, then you may be entitled to a full or partial refund depending on the ticket type you have.
